Hellstrøm Jul is a special Christmas aquavit made from aquavit that has matured in a mixture of Madeira and Sherry casks and is recommended for the traditional dishes of the Christmas table. Hellstrøm Juleakvit goes particularly well with dishes with pork, salt and tasty meat.

Hellstrøm Juleakvit is made from Norwegian potatoes. After distillation, the aquavit is stored in oloroso sherry casks for approx. 2 years. The aquavit is then matured in selected Madeira barrels for 6 months. It is made from a spice mixture consisting of, among other things, anise, star anise, citrus, orange, fennel and coriander.
Hellstrøm Christmas Aquavit is made in a limited batch where all bottles are numbered.
Eyvind Hellstrøm, former star chef and the man behind the Norwegian Michelin restaurant Bagatelle, is also the man behind Hellstrøm Akvavit.
